About Deadlift Workout
Helping people lift safely and effectively through AI-powered analysis and expert guidance.
Our Mission
The deadlift is one of the most effective exercises for building total-body strength. But it's also one of the most commonly performed incorrectly, leading to injuries that could have been prevented with proper guidance.
We created Deadlift Workout to bridge the gap between professional coaching and self-directed training. Using AI-powered pose estimation, we provide instant, actionable feedback on your form — without requiring you to upload your videos or compromise your privacy.
Combined with comprehensive educational content, our goal is to be the definitive resource for anyone looking to master the deadlift, from absolute beginners to experienced lifters refining their technique.
Our Values
Safety First
Proper form prevents injuries. We prioritize teaching correct technique over chasing numbers.
Privacy by Design
Your video never leaves your device. All analysis happens in your browser — no uploads, no storage.
Evidence-Based
Our guidance is grounded in biomechanics research and real coaching experience, not bro science.
Accessible
Quality form feedback shouldn't require an expensive coach. We make expert guidance accessible to everyone.
How Our Analyzer Works
Our form analyzer uses MediaPipe Pose, a state-of-the-art pose estimation model that runs entirely in your browser. It detects 33 body landmarks from your camera feed and analyzes them in real-time.
We then apply rule-based biomechanical analysis to identify potential form issues:
- Back position monitoring using torso angle analysis
- Lockout detection via hip and knee extension angles
- Hip-shoulder coordination to detect early hip rise
- Torso angle tracking throughout the lift
- Bar path approximation using wrist position
This approach allows us to provide helpful feedback while being transparent about the limitations of single-camera analysis. Our tool is designed to supplement — not replace — professional coaching.
